Mr. Avery's family lived in Wisconsin, Virginia, Florida, and the San Francisco Bay Area before setting in Medford, Oregon in 1971. Mr. Avery has worked in the film and television areas, and has previously written for several publications, including the online magazines "Nitrate Online" and "Other Zine". He currently lives in southern Oregon with a large blue cat. His three favorite films are "Citizen Kane", "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and "The Horror of Party Beach".
